 Hilde Schreier:  

Born in Austria, 1926 Resides in Ottawa. Ontario

Studied at the Academy for Applied Arts in Vienna; her professional experience includes stage and costume design, printing, etching and painting, Wide teaching experience. Participated in numerous group and one-man exhibitions in various parts of Canada.

Received award the Canadian Guild of Crafts Annual Competition, Canadian National Exhibition (1971). She is represented in the collection of Queen’s University, Kingston.

Statement:

Master of Ceremony#1 is part of a large group Court Group Celebration. The group is intended to be a celebration of renewal; birth, metamorphosis and change, and wilt consist of twelve individual constructions.
