Born in Trois - Pistoles, Québec 1926 Resides in Ste. Adele, Quebec Participated in group exhibitions at the 3rd and 5th Biennial of Tapestry. Lausanne, Switzerland; the Milan Triennial, “Art and Architecture”; Exhibition of Contemporary Tapestry, Museum of Modern Art, New York; Galerie Godard Lefort. Montreal; Larsen Gallery, New York. Awarded first prize Concours artistique de La Province he Québec (1957) and a Canada Council grant (1967). Represented in various public and private collections including the University of British Columbia; Matson du Québec, Paris; National Gallery o’ Canada; Vancouver Art Gallery; Confederation Art Centre and Museum. Charlottetown, PEI Public commissions include Theatre curtains for the Eisenhower Theatre for the Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts. Washington, D.C. and for the Theatre Maisonneuve, Place des Arts, Montreal.
