Tsipora Levy Born in Israel, 1934 Resides in Montreal, Québec Studied at Bezale School of Art and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Israel; at the Art Institute of Chicago, U.S.A., and is a graduate at the School 01 Applied Arts. University of Cincinnati, U.S.A. (B.Sc. in design). Participated in many group exhibitions in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa. Received a Craft Dimensions Canada Award, Royal Ontario Museum Toronto 1969). Statement: My medium is yarn. I paint and sculpt with yarn. In this fibre sculpture I tried to explore the expressive potential of fibres.
