In Looking West our latest issue we are looking west to British Columbia and Alberta for our content and giving artist and institutions a chance to speak for themselves. We look at some of this year’s graduating students from the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary and Capilano College

In Vancouver and the work of artist with established careers in fashion: Jessica de Hass, quilting: Pat White and photography: Nichol Dextras.

Kooteny School of the Arts at Selkirk College presents a tale of community spirit and a provincial government’s off handed whimsical approach to education funding. These stories and Profiles along with reviews of “SMALL TALK”  and the” In the Viewfinder”  column will give you brief but intriguing look at the diverse and exciting work being produced in the far west of Canada.
