In partnership with CEGEP Limoilou, the Maison des métiers d'art de Québec, a school of applied arts, offers course options in ceramics, textile design and sculpture as part of the Techniques de métiers d'art professional training program, leading to a Diploma of College Studies (D.E.C. – Diplôme d'études collégiales).
Training focuses on skills acquisition, creation and administration, providing enriched contact with peers in other disciplines and stimulating studio exchanges with the high-caliber artists and artisans who make up the teaching staff.
Further access to outstanding current practices here and elsewhere is provided by visiting artists in residence and by the Centre MATERIA, an on-site gallery . It all occurs in the stimulating urban atmosphere of Québec City's dynamic Saint-Roch quarter.
